I wish I could say that I'm the girl who confidently stepped out of the womb with a camera strapped around my neck, but sadly I am not. Although photography has long roots within my family, I came late to the game. My style has developed over the past few years of living overseas and traveling. My favorite pastime is getting lost in foreign places and capturing the details that make that place wonderous to me. I still struggle with Photoshop and advanced editing tools (hence, most of my images are only lightly edited.... if at all) and I have yet to find a newborn that I can con into looking serene. But, as in nature, I have found beauty in the organic standstill that takes place the moment I hear that sweet click of the shutter.
